Aarthy Jewellers was founded on a legacy of trust that spans two generations. Our story began in 1983 with two visionaries, Mr. A. Dhanasekaran and Mr. K.P. Manoharan. They started a small store in Madurai, building their business on the principles of honesty and integrity. Their commitment wasn't just to sell jewellery; it was to earn the trust of their customers and become a part of their families and celebrations. Today, this tradition is carried on by the second generation of leaders, Mr. D. Vignesh Kumar and Mr. P.M. A Legacy of Trust Spanning Two Generations
On the 16th of Chithirai, in the year 1983, in the heart of Madurai at South Avani Moola Street, our humble journey began. A small store measuring just 50 sq. ft., rented and modest in size, was brought to life by two visionary founders – Mr. A. Dhanasekaran and Mr. K.P. Manoharan. Though the beginning was small, the faith and affection of our customers helped us grow, step by step.
Built on the foundation of honesty, trust, and togetherness, we didn't just serve customers – we became a trusted part of their families, memories, and celebrations.
In 2008, a new chapter began when Mr. D. Vignesh Kumar, son of Mr. A. Dhanasekaran, completed his undergraduate studies and joined the family’s jewellery business with passion and vision. By 2009, we had expanded into a new rented showroom of 130 sq. ft. at Thottiyan Kinaru Street, marking the beginning of a new era.
Soon, Mr. P.M. Balaji, son of co-founder Mr. K.P. Manoharan, also joined the business after completing his college education. With both second-generation leaders now actively involved, the business began to flourish even more.
In 2014, we took a significant leap forward by moving into our own magnificent showroom at No. 43, Thottiyan Kinaru Street, spread across 650 sq. ft.. This was more than just a showroom—it was the embodiment of our dreams and the trust of thousands of customers.
Today, Mr. A. Dhanasekaran, Mr. D. Vignesh Kumar, and Mr. P.M. Balaji lead Aarthy Jewellers with pride, offering every customer the finest jewellery, transparent service, and heartfelt care.
